TRIPLE THREAT and GATTI tipped off in a highly anticipated A2 final which saw TRIPLE THREAT break out to a 13 point lead early on but Yann Charles stepped up his game late for GATTI nailing 26 points and leading the charge for GATTI to get back into this one as they tied it up midway through the 3rd quarter and made a game of it. The final 14 minutes were a true see saw affair but in the end TRIPLE THREAT found a way to squeak out an 81-79 victory as they held on for their first A2 championship in very impressive fashion in their first season in the A2 division. Simon Lavoie hit for 18 for the champions in the big win.
