JUUGS and NGU tipped off in a battle of the two of the most unlikeliest finalists for our B1 championship, as both teams finished 9-7 and 6-10 on the season. NGU however came into this game without their key big man Kafil Efitayo who went down with a bad ankle sprain in the semifinal. The loss of this cruicial player really came back to bite NGU as JUUGS came out firing on all cylinders in this one getting 22 from game MVP Kerlin Fils Aime and 31 from Patrick Seide en route to a lopsided 95-65 win, clinching their first over AK REC title, coming out victorious in very impressive fashion, stepping up when it mattered in the most not losing a single game in the playoff. Congratulations to team JUUGS on a terrific post season run. Morgan Letenneur did all he could for NGU with 25 on this night as NGU also very much impressed throughout their journey into the final but simple came up a little bit short in the end as JUUGS was too strong for them in the season finale.
