Showtime (17) hoped to continue their season when they
met the 7 Kings (16) in the 1st round of the playoffs Tuesday night.
The teams were locked at 32 at the half, but Showtime managed to fall by 13
with 3 minutes left. With their season on the line, Showtime played desperate
enough to comeback and squeezed out a 72-68 win. Marco Scanlan, Joey Rothstein and
Kevin Chaim completed their victory with 15, 14 and 12 points, living to see
another week. Despite their gracious bow out, the 7 Kings Akeem Baptiste, Jason
Ramsay and Ben Goldberg were able to contribute 21, 21 and 13 points.
