The SBL(B)
final was a matchup between the top seeds, Tolo (1) and Szwarcok (2). Tolo held
a 2-1 advantage in regular season play but the most recent showdown was a
convincing Szwarcok win. The teams opened up the game neck-and-neck, going
basket for basket and by the time halftime hit, there were only 3 points that
separated the 2 teams. Tolo’s Yann Bechimol took matters into his own hands,
carrying the team with a 16 point 2nd half that rocketed them to a
62-50 victory. Benchimol would finished MVP with a team high 20 point
performance. Teammates Ben Segev and Jeremy Toledano chipped in 18 and 12
points in the win while Szwarcok’s Josh Adams’ game high 23 point night was
spoiled in the loss.
