Katz (6) and Romano (5) were matched up in the quarter-finals Monday night. Romano built a 13 point lead at the half and never looked back despite a late push by Katz. Christopher Nacos, Jonah Donnelly and Oliver Russell carried Romano’s sharp shooting providing them with 24, 22 and 20 points respectively en route to a 97-90 win. Kevin Bitondo, David Joseph and Chad Caterson kept Katz afloat ending the night with 21, 18 and 16 but their efforts were spoiled as the loss ends their season pre-maturely.
